This Garmin Instinct 2 Solar smartwatch is my go-to for mountain biking and it's now available at an unbeatable price in this Amazon Prime Day deal
The Instinct 2 Solar may have been around for a few years now, but it captures all the ride tracking metrics I need and it's totally bombproof too
The Garmin Instinct 2 Solar is a super rugged smartwatch that's ideal for MTB adventures of all kinds. It's proved to be a totally reliable ride partner as it gives me all the data I need, it's totally bombproof, the battery life is long enough not to be a hassle (it typically lasts about a week), and it looks good too.
My colleague, Graham Cottingham, came to the same assessment in his Garmin Instinct 2 Solar review, where he gave it 4.5 stars out of 5, saying: "The Garmin Instinct 2 is a feature-rich adventure smartwatch that's ideal for mountain bikers who prioritize accurate ride tracking rather than mid-ride data peeping. While we haven’t experienced the unlimited battery life promises of solar, the battery life of the Instinct 2 is still very impressive."
Garmin Instinct 2 Solar: Was £289.99, now £199.99 at Amazon
An incredibly rugged Garmin smartwatch that is now at an excellent price. It may be one of the cheaper Garmin smartwatches these days, but it still gives me all the health data and ride tracking info I need.
As you can see in the offer above, it's now available in an excellent Amazon Prime Day deal with £100 off the current RRP (Garmin list the Instinct 2 at £299.99). We've been checking current prices from across the internet and this is the biggest reduction we've yet seen. The second best price we've found is also on Amazon, but that's outside of the current Prime Day deals and has a price of £244.99.
This deal applies to the UK only, but I've added a price tracker widget below that will give you the best and most up to date prices for the Garmin Instinct Solar wherever you are.
