The Women Sending Red Bull Hardline
Watch as six of the best women mountain bikers take on the Hardline track at Red Bull Progression Camp
The weather may have put a dampener on Red Bull Hardline this year by canceling qualifying and finals, but the ninth edition of the event wasn't a complete washout.
Earlier in the week saw the first Red Bull Progression Camp at Hardline, where six of the best women mountain bikers were invited to take on what is widely considered to be the most challenging downhill course in the world.
"I have always looked at this event and thought it would be so insane to be able to give it a go and then last year we saw Jess come and do amazingly and I was like, oh it'd be so good if we got a few girls and a group going here we are," says Tahnee Seagrave, who initiated the Progression Camp after seeing Jess Blewitt become the first women take part in Hardline last year.
Alongside Tahnee and Jess was downhiller Louise Ferguson and three freeriders, Vinny Armstrong, Cami Nogueira, and Hannah Bergemann. Watch as they take on the Hardline course together, hitting some of the biggest features despite being subjected to some pretty gnarly Welsh weather.
