Ribble launch stunning hand-painted gravel bikes with rock and stone inspired colorways
The UK brand takes their award-winning gravel bike collection to another level
Ribble has recently announced the addition of Shimano's new 105 R7100 Mechanical 12-speed groupset to their award-winning gravel bike range. The Lancashire-based direct-to-consumer brand says that it opens doors of affordability and choice for gravel riders looking for the best gravel bike. A range that includes a complete offering of the best bike frame materials from titanium and alloy to carbon framed models, and the recently reviewed steel-framed Ribble 725.
Ribble has always aimed to be at the forefront of the cycling industry with continued innovation and they have now taken their gravel bike range to the next level with the introduction of the all-new Stone Collection. The Stone Collection features an exclusive and unique series of three CustomColour hand-painted finishes to what they say is their world-class gravel platform.
Ribble says their Stone Collection has drawn inspiration from rock formations found in the natural world, bedrock and landscapes associated with the best gravel bike adventures and comes in three unique effects - Marble White, Granite Grey and Slate Black.
Jamie Burrow, Head of Product at Ribble spoke about the new collection, "With this all-new paint finish, we are proudly showcasing the design, craftsmanship and true technical capabilities of our team and our newly upgraded in-house paint facility. Each hand-painted bespoke bike is a unique work of art, with no two paint finishes ever being the same. Our CustomColour option allows our customers incredible levels of personalisation when buying their ideal and unique ride."
The Stone Collection is applied to the Ribble Carbon Gravel SL, and will be the bike of choice at the Gravel World Championships in Veneto for the three Ribble Collective riders selected to compete for Team GB. One of which is their globe-trotting gravel rider, Maddy Nutt, who has already appeared in some of the best gravel bike events around the world this year, including Unbound, Gravel Earth Series and Raiders Gravel.
Having seen the new frames up close Maddy gave us her thoughts, "I absolutely love the look of the new Ribble Gravel Stone Collection. It’s so smart, totally unique and it’s super stylish. I can’t wait to be riding one in the elite gravel world championships in Italy in a just a few weeks."
The three Stone finishes are also available across the full Ribble Gravel range via the CustomColour option. To highlight this exclusive new finish further, Ribble has created a special Gravel SL Marble Hero build with Shimano GRX Di2 1x11-Speed, Zipp 303 S wheels and LEVEL 5 Carbon Integrated flared handlebars priced at $TBC / £4,499 / €TBC.
