The Foundations Boy Short is a liner short designed to be worn underneath whatever clothing you opt for, whether it’s denim shorts, MTB overshorts, or a dress (we’re still inspired by Marley Blonsky bikepacking in a dress). It features a built-in chamois with a smaller footprint than that found in the brand’s bib shorts, offering a lower profile and therefore less bulk.
With its breathable mesh panelling across the top and down the sides of the legs, the lightweight liner shorts would also make an excellent option to wear alone for indoor cycling, as they should help keep the body cool. The shorts are made from a blend of Nylon and Elastane to offer quick drying and moisture-wicking, alongside medium compression to promote better blood flow to the legs.
The other garment being launched today is the Foundations Sports Bra, a compression sports bra with a soft elastic band that’s designed for comfort as well as support. Constructed from Nylon and Elastane, it features ventilating mesh panels on the chest and back for cooling, promising breathability and quality moisture management. It’s also claimed to be quick drying, while providing medium compression support.
Both the Foundations Boy Short and Foundations Sports Bra are available in Black and Cobalt Blue, and retail at $68 for the bra and $88 for the shorts.
