Guerrilla Gravity's exclusive Trail Pistol Race SL
This new exclusive version of the Guerrilla Gravity Trail Pistol, is an aggressive XC rider's dream.
Guerrilla Gravity has launched its first limited edition mountain bike.
The American mountain bike company, best known for its domestic carbon-fibre frame assembly, will be offering only 25 units of its new Trail Pistol Race SL to market.
Built on the proven Trail Pistol 120mm platform, Guerrilla Gravity has applied a very desirable selection of components as the finishing kit.
The Trail Pistol Race SL is unlike many other Guerrilla Gravity bikes, with a singular pursuit of performance by virtue of lightness. Balancing the 120mm rear shock is a RockShox Sid Ultimate fork of similar travel and rounding out the bike’s suspension bits, is an 80mm Bike Yoke Divine dropper seatpost.

Steering geometry is leveraged by a Race Face Next 760mm wide composite handlebar, featuring 20mm of rise. At each corner of that Next handlebar are SRAM Level Ultimate brakes, which actuate Centerline X rotors, sized 180mm up front and 160mm at the rear – both held in place by titanium bolts.
Converting pedal input to wheel movement is SRAM’s XX1 Eagle 12-speed drivetrain, with the 32t crankset turning a 10-52t cassette.
Guerrilla Gravity’s desire with the Trail Pistol Race SL was to show the brand’s awareness of what down-country and gram-obsessed trail riding customers want. To that end, the Trail Pistol Race SL rolls an Industry Nine 280c Ultralight front wheel, built with only 24-spokes and rotating a Maxxis Rekon 29x2.4” tyre.At the rear Guerrilla Gravity’s product planners opted for a slightly more robust Industry Nine 280c Trail wheelset, featuring a stronger 32-spoke structure and seating a 2.25” version of the Rekon tyre. With the frame’s rear triangle having room for a tyre up to 2.6” wide, the Trail Pistol Race SL build should have excellent mud clearance for those winter rides.
With a claimed weight rating of only 26lb (11.7kg), the Trail Pistol Race SL is credibly light. Guerrilla Gravity is marketing this limited edition 120mm 29er at $7895.
