Fox Racing celebrates the return of Tahnée Seagrave to racing with the women's TS57 MTB clothing range
Downhill MTB legend is back racing this weekend at the UCI DH World Cup in Lenzerheide
Tahnée Seagrave makes her return to Downhill World Cup racing this weekend in Lenzerheide, Switzerland. Tahnée has been away from downhill racing, missing most of the last two seasons as she took time out of downhill MTB racing to recover from a serious concussion and injuries. The former Downhill Mountain Bike World Champion returns this weekend and to celebrate her grit and determination, Fox Racing has launched the TS57 clothing collection that the British FMD Racing star will ride at the UCI MTB DH World Cup.
Fox Racing recently announced the opening of a brand new MTB store in Bentonville, Arkansas and the brand's reputation as a global leader when it comes to the best mountain bike clothing and safety equipment continues to grow. The announcement of the TS57 collection comes on the back of the recently launched the Fox Union MTB shoe, as Fox entered the crowded best mountain bike shoe and the shoes may well be seen being worn in Lenzerheide by Fox-sponsored riders including Tahnée Seagrave, Greg Minnaar, Laurie Greenland and Red Bull Hardline winner Jackson Goldstone.
The Fox TS57 collection will debut over the weekend worn by Tahnee of course, with other members of the FMD team getting in on the kit drop and wearing it also including Oliver Zwar, Phoebe Gale and Rudi Eichhorn. The full collection comprises the Flexair Racewear jersey and trousers, Defend Glove and Ranger Socks and we had a detailed look at some of the details of the TS57 collection.
The TS57 collection includes the women's Flexair Jersey and Flexair Pant, which are the main pieces. These pieces use TruDri moisture-wicking recycled polyester to help regulate temperature and prevent sweat. They are designed specifically for women's fit, with performance details such as a slit hem on the jersey and tapered legs on the trousers for maximum comfort and mobility while attacking those downhill sections.
The trousers have TruMotion fabric that stretches in all directions to give more flexibility. Additionally, they have a Durable Water Repellent finish to keep them dry and clean. The jersey and trousers are available in five sizes ranging from XS to XL, and the Flexair Jersey is priced at $109 / £80 / €79 and the Flexair Pant at $189 / £155 / €154.
The best mountain bike gloves should provide the best possible grip and protection for hands. The TS57 collection features the Women’s Defend Glove with four-way stretch polyester materials and Clarino protection palm with well-placed perforations to keep hands dry. The cuff is compression molded for a secure fit and there are TruFeel internal TPR knobbles direct-injected at the fingertips that are touch-screen compatible. The Defend Gloves are available in three sizes S, M, and L, and retail for $49 / £45 / €45.
Lastly in the collection are the Women’s Ranger Socks which have a flash of Tahnée Seagrave's signature pink. There is a compression arch that gives support with a superior fit and maximum comfort. Fox also says they have added mesh zones that provide added breathability. The socks are available in one size that fits EU 36-41 feet and retail at $19 / £16 / €16.
The full collection is available now from foxracing.com and selected Fox Racing retailers.
