Ever since I reviewed Cycplus' range of tiny electric pumps, they have become a must-have inclusion to my tool kit. I will admit, I was skeptical at first but the more I used them the more they impressed me with quick effort-free tire inflation. The AS2 range features three different e-pumps from the smallest AS2 to the most powerful AS2 Pro Max. My pick of the range is the middle AS2 Pro which combines a compact size, a pressure reading screen, and a powerful motor.
An electric pump might not suit every rider's needs but I have found them to perform extremely well when mountain biking and gravel riding, efficiently inflating tires without having to exert any extra effort. The AS2 Pro and AS2 Pro Max both feature a real-time display to show pressure and can be set to automatically shut off when the pump reaches your desired pressure to ensure accurate tire pressure.
The pumps all feature a durable alloy construction and have a compact size and low weight so they are easy to pack in a framebag or pocket, with the AS2 Pro measuring 49mm x 28mm x 70mm and weighing 138g (including the silicone case).
