Fizik launches new Vento Ferox Carbon all-road shoes
Made for gravel and XC racing, the new Vento Ferox Carbons are designed to be fast
Today Fizik has added the Vento Ferox Carbon to its lineup: a brand new all-road shoe designed specifically for gravel and cross-country racing. These two disciplines demand a lot from footwear, from speed and efficiency to tackling loose surfaces and turns in rapidly changing conditions, so the new Vento Ferox Carbon has been engineered to deliver on all counts.
The Italian brand’s new footwear offering features a lightweight laminated mesh upper, combined with an X1 carbon outsole with rubber tread, rated 10/10 on its stiffness index, and a Li2 Boa dual-closure system for a precision fit.
Claimed to weigh in at 297g (size not stated), they’re much lighter than most of the models listed in our guide to the best gravel bike shoes, weighing similarly to Fizik’s Terra X5 MTB shoes and 17g more than Shimano’s RX8.
They’re available to buy as of today, and come in sizes EU 36-48, with half-sizes available for sizes 37-47, and two color options: Lilac/White and Black/Black.
The new Fizik Vento Ferox Carbon shoes retail at $299 / £299 / €299 and are currently available to buy from Fizik.
