Mondraker is the latest brand to release a bike loaded with Bosch's new limited edition motor, as well as giving the bike a custom paint job too. The finished product sees it become the best electric mountain bike in the Mondraker range if you're looking for the racing edge.

The Bosch Performance Line CX Race motor was released earlier in the year, improving performance over the standard Bosch motor that Mondraker specs on the rest of its Crafty bike range. The motor features a magnesium casing to save 150g of weight, but the big takeaway with the new motor is the race mode which offers 400 percent assistance, compared to 340 percent in Turbo.

The frame is finished with a transparent gloss Amber color on the top tube and a matt Amber on the downtube, chainstays, and lower seat stays so that the bike stands out. Mondraker says that the transparent paint has been applied in order for the layers of carbon underneath to still be visible giving the finish more depth.

Other than the motor and fancy paint job, the new bike has the same geometry and componentry spec list as Mondraker's existing Crafty Carbon XR bike, featuring 170mm and 150mm of front and rear suspension from Ohlins, SRAM X01 mechanical groupset, SRAM Code RSC brakes, and Mavic E-Deemax S 29 wheels.

We already know the numbers of Bosch Race motors around are finite, so it's unsurprising that Mondraker are only going to have a very limited number of bikes available. They are expecting them to sell quickly too so if you want one, best put your order in as soon as possible.
