Get the brand new version of this brilliant full-suspension mountain bike for just £999 in this Black Friday MTB deal
The new Calibre Bossnut may have only just been released last month, but it's now got a massive £500 price cut in this Black Friday mountain bike deal. And that's not because there's anything wrong with the bike as it's a proper ripper.
Our ultra-experienced bike tester, Guy Kesteven, awarded it 4.5 out of 5 stars in his Calibre Bossnut 2025 review, saying: "The new Bossnut is an outstanding mix of sorted handling and geometry in a seriously tough frame that’s begging you to ride it flat out straight away. Add very durable, serviceable top brand components and it’s great long term as well as initial purchase price value too."

Our colleagues over on MBR were equally impressed and the Bossnut got a great reception from all corners of the MTB press. It was already one of the best budget mountain bikes at its full £1499 price, but at £999 in this deal, nothing else comes anywhere near close.
At this deal price, the Bossnut is hands down the best value full-suspension MTB on the market right now. It comes with quality RockShox suspension, plus decent Shimano brakes and gears. It even has a dropper post – which is not always the case even on hardtails at this price.
Given a budget of £1000, I'd only usually recommend hardtail mountain bikes at that price. But with this deal taking the Bossnut to £999, if you're in the market for a sorted trail MTB that doesn't cut any spec corners, it's definitely the bike to choose. Nothing else can touch it in terms of value.
Component highlights include a RockShox suspension pairing of a 140mm Recon Silver RL fork up front and RockShox Deluxe Select shock with 135mm of rear travel at the rear. Brakes and gears are from Shimano, with a 1x11 Cues drivetrain and 180mm brake rotors.
Also included is an X-Fusion Manic dropper post complete with an adjustable alloy underbar remote lever and size-specific (125mm XS + S, 150mm M, 170mm L + XL) stroke lengths.
The Bossnut has bolt-through axles and Boost width hubs front and rear. It comes with 29in wheels as standard but can be converted to a mullet with an aftermarket kit from Calibre. Bike sizing runs from XS to XL, the large-sized test bike tested by Guy weighed in at 16.4kg. For full bike specs, see the list below.
To buy the Bossnut for £999, you'll also need to get a Go Outdoors discount card for a fiver. This deal runs out on 2nd December when Go Outdoors says the Bossnut will return to its usual £1499 price.
