Specialized has unveiled a brand new kit collection – Butter Gravity – in collaboration with four-time Elite DH World Champion Loïc Bruni. The new race-day kit is so named for its “buttery smooth taste of speed”, according to Spesh, and the pastel yellow kit will be debuted by Bruni at the Fort William World Cup this weekend.
The race-focused Butter Gravity collection is, according to Specialized, designed for going faster with leading ventilation, movement, and durability. It consists of a race jersey, long-sleeve jersey, full-length pants, trail shorts, gloves, a beanie, socks and a short-sleeve tee. They’re all the color of the dairy product with which they share their name, but the good news for vegans and the lactose intolerant is that none of the garments contain actual butter.

Butter Gravity Race Jersey
This long-sleeve jersey features key zone ventilation to provide cooling airflow where it’s needed the most. Meanwhile it sports a casual crew neck collar for comfort as well as style.
Butter Gravity Pants
These full-length trail pants combine laser-perforated ventilation and abrasion-resistant knee patches with an adjustable waist and tapered legs.
Butter Trail Long Sleeve Jersey
This second long-sleeve jersey in the collection promises ventilation in key heat zones, plus a similar crew neck collar. It’s available in men’s and women’s versions.
Butter Trail Air Shorts
The shorts feature laser perforation and an adjustable waist, just like the pants, offering a customizable fit for comfort on the bike.
Butter Trail Air Gloves
The gloves feature a micro-vented perforated palm and power knit mesh, to deliver breathability.
Butter Techno MTB Tall Sock
The socks have lightweight underfoot cushioning that’s said to create a buffer against trail vibration, while also minimizing hotspots and friction.
Butter New Era Cuff Beanie
A trail staple for when you’re standing around, the Butter Gravity collection also includes a knit beanie.
Butter Short Sleeve Tee
Completing the collection is a short-sleeved casual tee with screen-printed graphics and soft-to-the-touch fabric.
